Why Women Entrepreneurs?
- The 432 million women of working age in India are the country’s largest under-tapped economic resource.
- The proportion of unpaid women workers in India (66%) is much higher than that of men (12%).
- Accelerating growth in the number as well as the size of women-owned enterprises can generate potentially transformational employment in India, of 150 to 170 million jobs by 2030.

Roadmap
Call for applications to enable aspiring women with business ideas to register for STREE 2022.
Shortlisting promising finalists who will be supported by a panel of mentors to help translate their ideas into sustainable businesses.
A day long expo to launch the mentored businesses, which will enable finalists to market their product or service and attract investments.
sTREE 2021 Applicants
STREE 2021 provided entrepreneurial support, knowledge and mentoring to 100 aspiring women entrepreneurs and helped them receive purchase orders for their products/services.
