Sanddhya Yadav: A fascination with flowers Turned into a successful Business.

Sanddhya Yadav In 2005, after leaving a well-paying company job for her dream to develop into a florist, Sanddhya Yadav’s first challenge was to adorn a wedding ceremony venue. A two-wheeler and a helper was all she had to end the job. Cut to 2020, she is managing her store Tulip Fiori in Bengaluru with a group of 60+ members and her clientele ranges from luxurious resorts to temples to non-public gardens.

According to Sanddhya, her fascination with flowers could possibly be traced again to her childhood when she used to watch her grandfather, who was the director of a horticulture society, have a tendency to over 150 forms of roses within the household’s backyard. She went on to set up Tulip Fiori in 2005 and landed gigs at five-star resorts and temples. Pivoting in the course of the pandemic

Just a few years later as companies started to get affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Tulip Fiori was additionally hit. “My business completely shut down during the lockdown. It made me rethink my business model. I had earlier learned the art of container gardening during one of my trips abroad and was inspired to look it up again. Later, I attended online classes on designing gardens during the lockdown. It gave me the confidence to start a new segment ‘Close To Nature’ by Tulip Fiori, which offers landscaping services for private gardens, maintenance of gardens, helps people set up kitchen gardens, and also sets up biophilic designs for people living in apartments.”

Sanddhya is among the many 24 ladies’ entrepreneurs who’re collaborating within the GAME Xcelerator Bangalore program. Talking about what made her be part of the program, Sandhya says, “I want landscaping services to be accessible to all. Earlier, I got orders by word of mouth, so I didn’t get a chance to market myself.” She says that she can be wanting ahead to steerage which can assist her to transfer her business online and know extra about pricing.
